Shop and Stroll

My Country Story

Strolling along Dover’s downtown, you’ll stumble upon many boutique shops worth a look. One gift shop known for its locally-handmade collection is My Country Story, where products from more than 50 local artisans are on display. And if you travel down Oak Street, you’ll find the old Boston & Maine Engine House which has been the home of Salmon Falls Stoneware since the 80’s. Inside, shelves are stocked with a nationally-recognized collection of quality salt-glaze pottery, from kitchenware to planters, birdbaths to baking dishes—all glazed with original patterns. And if your sweet tooth is calling, the medieval-themed candy and ice cream shop at Lickee’s & Chewy’s Candies & Creamery will satisfy all your cravings.
